I didn't see the entire pilot episode so I am not going to make any judgment calls but I did want to comment on a couple of things. This show was originally called Time Heals, which sounded like a ridiculous soap opera like General Hospital. Changing the show name was a good move.
The few minutes I saw involved the hospital staff rushing a stabbing victim to the OR. The woman's husband rushes in and wants to see his wife but is told he can see her after surgery or something like that. He responds "I'm not leaving till I kill the bitch" and then pulls out a knife to finish what he started. He ends up stabbing one of the orderlies in the leg which turns out to be a prosthetic leg - convenient.
I know a little bit about the show when it was in production and they were adamant that they were not another Grey's Anatomy. They would actually get kind of pissy if you compared the two shows. What I saw looked strikingly similar to the ridiculous antics that happen all the time at Seattle Grace. I honestly couldn't believe the stabbing scene was serious. I figured it had to be a dream sequence or a joke until the next scene where Jada Pinket Smith is talking to the orderly about her damaged prosthetic.
Since I didn't watch the entire episode, I won't make a definitive call other than to say it looked a lot like Grey's to me.
