Sprint Wireless Service

I signed up for Sprint cell service about two months ago and have been impressed with the service so far. Living in the San Fernando Valley, CA I  would have thought I would have good service with Verizon considering they have the "Best Network in America". Granted this is overall coverage but calling yourself the best should take other things into consideration. In the year I have lived in CA, I had more dropped calls on Verizon than the five years when I lived in podunk Georgia and was a Verizon customer.

I have yet to drop a call on Sprint even in my home which is a call killer for Verizon. Last week a Sprint representative called to see if I was happy with my service and see if I had any questions. While I didn't have any important questions, I was impressed that Sprint followed up and called to make sure I was happy with my service.

Before we hung up I jokingly told the representative that I would like to see Sprint get the iPhone. His asked if I had seen the Palm Pre - their answer to the iPhone. I tried not to laugh since he had been so nice but c'mon, the Palm Pre is not an iPhone replacement. While the Pre does have some cool features, I don't think the iPhone will be beaten for a while, but I already wrote a post about "iPhone Killers" so I won't repeat myself here.
