I am a gadget type of guy but thankfully I'm rather cynical so I'm not prone to buy all the latest and greatest items "As Seen on TV". My usual reaction to Billy Mays and the whole infomercial world is to lunge for the mute button. I just don't believe that any of that shit is what they are claiming it to be - c'mon it just can't all be that amazing.
One of my weakness is silvery shiny things so I was interested when I saw the slim clip in a CVS while shopping for my job. My boss usually would give me at least $200 dollars in cash to go shopping with and $200 in $20s is still 10 bills which can really fill out your wallet, not to mention if you break any of the bills and get smaller denominations back. The Slim Clip is advertised to hold up to 30 bills at a time and is priced at $10 so I figured I could give my cynicism a rest and try it out.
The clip does exactly what it's advertised to do which I guess shouldn't come as a surprise: it's a freaking piece of metal - what could go wrong? I was very happy though that my $10 wasn't wasted and the clip saved me from carrying around a rather uncomfortable wallet. I haven't tested it to it's full capacity of bills of credit cards but I have had 5 cards and about 25 bills in it at once and it performed excellently.
Slim Clip is a great use of $10 dollars especially if you order it online where you get two for the price of one along with some kind of idiotic keychain flashlight that I'm sure they expect to send you over the edge and buy the product. - cynicism, back online.
